《小侦探内特》系列是在美国畅销多年的儿童图书，这套书的第一本初版于1972年，已有43年的历史。
图书刚出版的时候只有内特的故事，没有后半部分的趣味活动，兰登书屋在2005年对该书改版的时候添加了后半部分趣味活动，得到了广泛的好评，也使图书的销量更掀一波高潮。
